Pearl is a text-message event concierge operated by PixelCove LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the service and how we handle it. We keep it short and we mean it.
What we collect
- Your mobile phone number, when you opt in by texting an event join code.
- The messages you send to the concierge, so it can answer them.
- Basic event details the organizer provides (schedule, lodging, who's invited).
How we use it
- To operate the concierge: answer your questions and send reminders for events you're attending.
- To deliver messages through our messaging providers (Twilio for SMS; Sendblue for iMessage).
- To improve answers for your event. We do not use your number for unrelated marketing.
AI-generated replies
Pearl's answers are generated by artificial intelligence. To produce a reply, the text of your message (and any photo you send, for captioning) is processed by our AI providers (currently Google, Anthropic, OpenAI and OpenRouter) solely to generate that reply, under API terms that do not permit training their models on it. AI answers can be wrong: always confirm time-critical details (travel, medical, safety) through official sources.
SMS & mobile opt-in data
We do not share or sell your mobile information, phone number, or SMS opt-in consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only sharing of your number is with our messaging providers (Twilio, Sendblue) strictly to deliver the texts you asked for. Your consent to receive text messages is separate from, and not a condition of, any purchase. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
Retention & deletion
Conversation messages are kept for no more than 48 hours, just enough for follow-up questions to make sense. Event data (the schedule, guest list, and photo album) is kept while your event is active and for up to one year afterward so keepsakes like the album keep working, then deleted. You can have your data deleted sooner at any time: email us at the address below.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts any time by replying STOP.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your data by contacting us.
